Ouranós Blé

Ouranós Blé is a 60 m², lovingly designed apartment on two levels, which can accommodate three to four people and is ideal for couples, families or friends who want to spend a relaxing vacation in an original Cretan atmosphere.

Here, traditional natural stone architecture, warm light, Mediterranean serenity, the color blue and magnificent views of the mountains combine to create a place where you can easily leave everyday life behind.

As in Ouranos Kokkino’s other apartment, the design deliberately follows clear and classic principles: simple, climate-friendly and genuine, in the spirit of the original construction of the house.

In Blé, a calm, sky-blue hue dominates, echoing the connection between house, sky and Cretan light and giving the apartment a lively yet calming atmosphere.

The flowing first floor

On the first floor of the Ouranós Blé is the open-plan living and dining area with its timeless architecture, openness and very special atmosphere. In summer, you are amazed at the coolness of this impressive room; in cooler seasons, the large fireplace radiates warmth, atmosphere and a special coziness.

The fully equipped kitchenette invites you to cook together or to prepare breakfast, which you can eat either inside or outside on the communal living terrace.

Another bed in the living area offers additional flexibility for families or small groups – homely, open and cozy.

The bathroom with plenty of storage space and a comfortable bathtub adjoins the open kitchen.

Total peace and quiet on the upper floor

A staircase leads to the upper floor, where you will find the bedroom with a double bed. Here there is room for rest, peace and deep relaxation.

The bedroom is also air-conditioned so that hot summer nights can be followed by relaxed, cool hours. However, you can also switch to draught, as this room can be perfectly ventilated through doors to the two roof terraces.

A closet and a small bookshelf create atmosphere and space at the same time – a balance of function and well-being that makes your stay even more pleasant.

The terraces

The Ouranos Blé has three wonderful terraces that offer different viewing angles and lighting moods. The covered living terrace at the entrance is the first place where you arrive and feel welcome – a place for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening.

Two further terraces open up from the bedroom: an upper living terrace, which is part of the atmospheric sky view over Pitsidia, and another covered terrace on the other side, which offers shade and a quiet retreat.

Whether it’s sunrise or the golden light of the late afternoon, these terraces are an open space in the truest sense of the word where you can enjoy the light, the air and the Mediterranean rhythm to the full.
