House Ouranós
Our house Ouranós is an individual and comfortable holiday accommodation in Pitisdia, on the south coast of Crete. If you want a relaxed and authentic environment – but taverna and shops should be close by – then this is the place for you.
The idyllic Pitsidia with its tavernas, alleys and shops is just the place to be, House Ouranós offers the perfect accommodation for you.
Endless sandy beaches, countless hiking and excursion destinations and numerous weekly markets make Pitsidia and its surroundings a – dream.

Welcome!
House Ouranós was built in 1883 as a residential building in the traditional style of construction using natural stone (which also supplies a pleasant room climate). This construction method ensures a pleasant indoor climate at all times.
Today it contains of two luxuriously equipped apartments whose design reminds of the houses history and tradition: Ouranós Ble und Ouranós Kokkinos.
Our terrasses
The view from the roof terraces over Pitsidia, the Messara plateau and the Ida mountains is magnificent! The impressive view and the space of the sky over Crete inspired us to name the house “Ouranós” (Greek: heaven).
And because the sky is usually bright blue during the day and often wonderful in the evening, our two flats are called “Ouranós Ble” (sky blue) and “Ouranós Kókkinos” (sky red).
Oasis
With the two appartments, the house is perfect for a joint holiday with friends or family.
However, the residences can just as easily be occupied separately and independently of each other. The spacious roof terraces of both flats can be separated or combined as required.
Ouranós Ble
The Ouranós Ble appartment is 60 m² and can accommodate 3 to 4 people.
Ouranós Ble has a large fireplace, a fully equipped kitchenette, a separate bedroom upstairs and several terraces.
Ouranós Kokkinos
The appartment Ouranós Kokkinos is 65 m² large. It offers sleeping accommodation for 4 to 5 people.
The appartment includes a separate kitchen house and two private terraces on different levels.
